Paper quilled earringsPaper quilled earrings with Barbara Vine

Local jewellery artisan Barbara Vine leads you through the process for making your own unique pair of rolled, or quilled, Japanese paper earrings.

Earring hooks are hypo-allergenic. Kits, instructions and all tools are provided. There will be a selection of colours to choose from and take home kits available for purchase on the night.

Please bring a notebook and pen and a small takeaway food container.
 
 
  
 

KokedamaKokedama (moss balls) with Akemi Kade

Join talented artist Akemi for a hands-on workshop creating stylish Japanese kokedama plant balls with moss, soil and twine. You’ll get stuck in creating two different moss balls, using succulents and indoor plants.

Things to bring: an apron, protective gloves, coloured string if you wish to further decorate your kokedama, and a container to transport your plants home in.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your workshop start time to register and secure your place. Suitable for beginners aged 12+.

Guided by printmaker Kay Watanabe, you can learn to carve soft, easy to work rubber to create your own stamps. Make your own personalised stamps, perfect for cards, gift tags and many other craft projects.

Please bring an apron to protect your clothes from paint and ink, and wear covered shoes as you will be working with sharp tools.
