Join Brisbane-based printmaker Kay Watanabe and learn to carve soft, easy to work rubber to create your own personalised stamps, perfect for cards, gift tags and many other craft projects.

Please wear an apron to protect your clothes from paint and ink, and wear covered shoes as you will work with sharp tools.

Local jewellery designer Barbara Vine offers a practical introduction to creating your own washi paper medallion, suspended from a long silken-like cord and adorned with a  chain link drop.

Kits, instructions and all tools are provided, including a selection of Japanese paper to choose from. Please bring a notebook, pen and a small takeaway food container. Please be aware that you will be working with sandpaper, glue and lacquer.
