black&write! is a national project designed to foster significant Indigenous writing talent. As the first project of its kind in Australia, black&write! aims to change the landscape of Indigenous writing of our country.

Since 2010 the fellowships have seen publication of poetry anthologies, illustrated children’s books, science fiction works, young adult novels and more, from some of Australia’s best established and emerging Indigenous writers.
