Baynes' Paddock, Greenslopes, 1887. This Brisbane real estate map from 1887 advertises 436 allotments of land for sale at Baynes’ Paddock (located in present day Greenslopes). There is a discrepancy between the map and newspaper advertisements for the sale which report 471 allotments being available. The allotments for sale were situated along Logan Road; Cornwall Street; Ernest Street; Beatrice Street; Vera Street; Logan Street; Adelaine Street (now Juliette Street); Reuben Street (now Zillah Street); Victor Street (now Flora Street); Arnold Street (now Lincoln Street) and Rita Street (now Regina Street).
Prints are created using archival pigment inks on 200 gsm archival photo paper with a matte finish.
We leave a small white border of 10-15mm around the image area to protect it during shipping, to avoid fingerprints while being handled, and to allow for framing (prints do not come framed).
Prints will be carefully rolled and mailed in a protective tube.
Aside from a small selection in-store, all prints are print on demand. Please allow up to 48 hours for production.
